New gadgets we've seen so far in 2022...

2022 is well and truly here and if the rest of the year is anything like the start then we can expect to see some cool new gadgets. Let’s take a look at some of the devices already released.

One of the first and most exciting launches was that of the AYN Odin on Indiegogo, where it has since grossed USD 750,000 from backers. As a brief, AYN technologies offers the Odin in models: Lite, Base and Pro. All have identical 1080p displays, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage, but a few differences exist between the three. The AYN Odin began shipping to eagerly waiting customers in January and has so far received nothing but good reviews. The Ayn Odin sports a 6-inch display so it is worth buying a Nano glass screen protector for your Ayn Odin and if you are going to be playing on the move or outside you can buy an Anti-glare screen protector to help keep that glare down.

Next on the list of releases is our team at Garmin launching another range of watches under the Fenix 7 banner. It has two meaningful improvements to Garmin’s best in class running tracking. The improved GNSS consistently gets a satellite lock faster outdoors and indoors and produces much more accurate live pace estimations compared to the Fenix 6 series. The Fenix 7 comes in a range of sizes, weights, materials and with an optional solar-charging system, all of which have full mapping. The Fenix 7 features a longer battery life but does come in close to $1000 so it is worth buying a Nano glass screen protector for your Fenix 7.

Finally on the list is the tech industry’s worst kept secret and that is the recent release of the Samsung S22. The Samsung Galaxy S22 has been rumoured and speculated for months after being plagued by insider leaks so it's nice to finally see it released for pre-order with a shipping date of February 25th. There will be three in the range, The Samsung Galaxy S22, The Samsung Galaxy S22+, The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, We know there has been improvements to storage capabilities and increased battery in the S22 Ultra and are excited to get our hands on one to try ourselves! You can purchase a NICK’S seriously tough screen protector for the Samsung S22 to help avoid a costly display break on a new phone!

Let's just remember we are only at the start of February so it’s fair to say we are pretty excited about what is still to come for the year!
