TikTok's US employees are planning to file a lawsuit challenging a Trump administration executive order they say would make it illegal for their employer to pay them.
Earlier last week, President Donald Trump issued an executive order barring any US transactions with ByteDance, the Chinese company that owns TikTok.
The lawsuit is being challenged by the US employees of TikTok and they have already raised $30,000 on Go fund me. The order, which would take effect Sept. 20, would effectively ban the short-form video app from operating in the US if ByteDance doesn't sell TikTok.
TikTok shared a blog last week to say it was “shocked” by President Trump’s executive order. TikTok is most popular for users to create and watch short videos of lip-syncing and dancing and is available on most devices. We know a few of these devices get broken screens while creating the perfect TikTok so why not buy a tempered glass screen protector from our store today!
